BridgeBio published results from the Phase 3 PROPEL 3 trial of oral infigratinib in children with achondroplasia.
- Primary endpoint met at week 52, with annualized height velocity up 1.74 cm/year versus placebo (95% CI 1.31-2.17; p<0.0001).
- Height z-score improved 0.32 versus placebo at week 52 (96% CI 0.23-0.41; p<0.0001).
- Exploratory measures showed lower apnea-hypopnea index progression, with otitis media event rates down 38% versus placebo.
- Safety profile appeared comparable to placebo, with mostly Grade 1-2 events; no treatment-related serious adverse events or discontinuations reported.
