Bristol Myers Squibb, BioNTech report 36.7% response rate for pumitamig combination in Phase 2 lung cancer trial
BNTX•Bristol Myers Squibb and BioNTech reported a 36.7% response rate for investigational pumitamig with docetaxel in a Phase 2 trial of previously treated advanced lung cancer. The partners said the combination showed encouraging progression-free survival and a manageable safety profile.
1. Phase 2 findings
The ROSETTA Lung-107 trial found tumor responses across cancer subtypes and PD-L1 expression levels in patients whose disease progressed after immunotherapy with chemotherapy. Results presented at the ESMO Congress 2026 also showed encouraging progression-free survival, the companies said.
2. Safety and development
The combination had a manageable safety profile, with no new safety signals or pumitamig-related deaths. The partners are advancing four global Phase 3 trials.
