Broadcom Ships 120,000 PQC-Safe SecureHBAs, Integrates with FlashArray for In-Flight Encryption
Broadcom began shipping the first PQC-safe in-flight encryption solution, deploying over 120,000 Emulex SecureHBAs and embedding them in FlashArray storage for quantum-resistant Fibre Channel data protection. Emulex SAN Manager 3.0 adds compliance reporting for CNSA 2.0 and NIS2/DORA while ensuring hardware-offloaded AES-GCM-256 encryption with no CPU overhead and maintained deduplication.
1. Record SecureHBA Shipments and Everpure Integration
Over the past year Broadcom has shipped more than 120,000 Emulex SecureHBAs on OEM server platforms. Everpure now embeds these SecureHBAs in its FlashArray storage line, creating the industry’s first quantum-resistant in-flight encryption path across Fibre Channel networks.
2. Advanced Encryption and Compliance Management
The Emulex SAN Manager 3.0 software introduces automated CNSA 2.0 and NIS2/DORA compliance reporting. Hardware-offloaded AES-GCM-256 encryption delivers zero CPU impact while preserving key storage services such as deduplication, compression and seamless fail-over recovery.
