Broadcom expanded its AI infrastructure portfolio for gigawatt-scale clusters with products including 3.5D XPU, 102.4T Ethernet switch with co-packaged optics, 400G/lane optical DSP and PCIe Gen6 solutions showcased at OFC 2026. The company debuted Taurus™ 400G/lane optical DSP paired with 400G electro-absorption modulated lasers and photodiodes enabling cost-effective 1.6T transceivers.

At OFC 2026 in Los Angeles, Broadcom introduced an expanded AI infrastructure lineup designed to support gigawatt-scale clusters, featuring modular 3.5D XPU platforms, high-port PCIe Gen6 switches and retimers, and industry-leading Ethernet and optics solutions aimed at the 200T era.

The company highlighted its shipping 102.4T Tomahawk 6 Ethernet switch with co-packaged optics, debut of the Taurus 400G/lane optical DSP paired with 400G electro-absorption modulated lasers and photodiodes for cost-effective 1.6T transceivers, and PCIe Gen6 devices to enhance connectivity and power efficiency.
