Meta extended its collaboration with Broadcom on custom AI silicon through 2029, committing over 1 gigawatt of XPU-based computing capacity and partnering on next-generation 2nm MTIA chips; CEO Hock Tan will transition from Meta’s board to an advisory role focused on chip roadmap.
