Brookdale agreed to buy the real estate of 17 senior living communities it leases for about $157 million, shifting the portfolio toward owned assets.
The deal covers 735 assisted living and memory care units. Closing is expected in Q4 2026, and funding is planned via non-recourse mortgage financing and cash on hand.
