Investment properties fell to USD 44.16 billion at June 30, 2026 from USD 56.93 billion at Dec. 31, 2025; assets held for sale jumped to USD 19.54 billion from USD 3 billion.
Total debt obligations declined to USD 34.97 billion from USD 46.23 billion, while cash and cash equivalents decreased to USD 1.49 billion from USD 1.86 billion.
Quarterly profit and revenue increase
Brookfield Property Partners posted net income of USD 62 million, swinging from a net loss of USD 46 million a year earlier.
Revenue rose to USD 1.89 billion from USD 1.8 billion, while interest expense increased to USD 879 million from USD 858 million.
Share of net earnings from equity accounted investments climbed to USD 331 million from USD 192 million; fair value gains edged up to USD 56 million from USD 47 million.
