Brookfield Renewable Partners adjourned its unitholder meeting on the proposed simplification to Oct. 29, 2026, from its prior date. The deal requires votes from at least 66.67% of outstanding units as of the Aug. 21, 2026, record date. It would combine BEP and Brookfield Renewable Corp. into a single listed company, Brookfield Renewable Partners Inc. A final court hearing is expected around Nov. 3, with closing targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.
