Brookfield Renewable Partners postponed its simplification vote to Nov. 30, 2026, at noon Toronto time to increase unitholder participation. The proxy voting deadline was extended to Nov. 25 at 5 p.m. Toronto time.
2. Approval requirements
Support reached 99.7% of votes cast by Oct. 27, but passage requires at least two-thirds of all outstanding BEP units. Brookfield Renewable Corporation shareholders approved the simplification on Oct. 14; completion remains conditional on BEP unitholder approval and a final court order. The simplification is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
