Board rejects unsolicited proposal

Brown-Forman BFb.N said on Sunday that its board had received an unsolicited acquisition proposal from Sazerac and concluded that the proposal was “not actionable.”

The company did not disclose the amount offered by the U.S. spirits maker Sazerac.
