BRP rises after lifting annual forecasts
DOOO•BRP lifts full-year revenue and profit forecasts
** U.S.-listed shares of powersports vehicles manufacturer BRP DOO.TO were up about 3% at $65.50 in premarket trading.
** The company raised its full-year revenue and profit forecast, citing strong off-road vehicles performance and reduced net tariff costs.
** It now expects fiscal 2027 total revenues of C$9.23 billion to C$9.48 billion, compared with its prior forecast of C$9.13 billion to C$9.38 billion.
** Annual normalized diluted EPS is expected in the range of C$4.00 to C$4.50, up from C$3.00 to C$3.50 previously.
** BRP reported second-quarter revenue of C$2.24 billion, beating analysts' estimates of C$2.01 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.
** It also posted a narrower quarterly adjusted loss of 18 Canadian cents per share, compared with expectations for a loss of 66 Canadian cents per share.
** As of the last close, the stock was down about 10% year to date.
