BTQ posts Q2 loss as share-based compensation and professional fees rise sharply, company says

Cash fell to CAD 9.73 million from CAD 20.94 million at Dec. 31, 2025; operating cash outflow was CAD 13.91 million for the first half.
Quarterly loss widened on higher costs
BTQ posted a net loss of CAD 16.75 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, widened by higher operating costs.
Expenses rose across compensation, fees and operating lines
Share-based compensation rose to CAD 7.76 million, reflecting expanded headcount, new equity awards, contract amendments, and continued recognition of 2025 grants.
Spending increased across professional fees at CAD 4.41 million, R&D at CAD 2.94 million, marketing at CAD 2.11 million, and G&A at CAD 683,528.
