BTQ Powers Commercial Launch of SDT’s QuREKA Cloud with QPerfect’s MIMIQ Emulator
BTQ•BTQ Technologies will power the commercial launch of SDT’s QuREKA quantum cloud platform at Quantum Korea 2026 in Seoul from July 2–4, featuring QPerfect’s MIMIQ emulator ahead of its planned full acquisition. This paid service enables Korean researchers to design and validate circuits at scales of thousands of qubits.
1. Commercial Launch at Quantum Korea 2026
BTQ’s MIMIQ-powered QuREKA quantum cloud will debut July 2–4 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. The full-stack hybrid platform combines CPU, GPU and QPU resources to deliver customer-facing quantum services and marks BTQ’s first commercial channel for its quantum software portfolio.
2. MIMIQ Integration and Capabilities
QPerfect’s high-performance emulator MIMIQ anchors the commercial release, enabling users to design and validate quantum circuits at scales of thousands of qubits. Integrated into the QuREKA environment, MIMIQ offers enterprises a scalable simulation layer beyond current physical hardware limits.
3. Strategic Acquisition of QPerfect
BTQ received foreign direct investment approval to fully acquire QPerfect SAS and expects to close the transaction pending customary conditions. Upon completion, MIMIQ will become a wholly owned component of BTQ’s trusted quantum portfolio, expanding its software offerings.
4. South Korea Partnership and Market Impact
SDT Inc. will operate and commercialize QuREKA in South Korea, granting direct cloud access to Korean research institutions and enterprises. This partnership reinforces BTQ’s strategy in one of its key regional markets and establishes a new commercial revenue channel.
