BTQ Technologies-backed QPerfect (16.67% stake) and SDT launch MIMIQ service on QUREKA
BTQ holds a 16.67% stake in QPerfect, which has integrated its MIMIQ virtual quantum computer into SDT’s QUREKA hybrid platform to launch a cloud-based emulation service live since February 1, 2026. The service supports emulation of circuits with thousands of qubits and millions of gates in a secure European cloud.
1. Strategic Collaboration Agreement
BTQ Technologies holds a 16.67% interest in QPerfect and anticipates acquiring full ownership subject to closing conditions. QPerfect and SDT have signed a strategic agreement to integrate QPerfect’s MIMIQ™ virtual quantum computer into SDT’s QUREKA™ hybrid quantum platform.
2. MIMIQ Integration and Service Capabilities
The integrated service, live since February 1 2026, enables design, testing and validation of quantum algorithms at scales beyond current hardware limits. MIMIQ™ emulates circuits with up to thousands of qubits and millions of gates using state-vector and MPS simulation methods.
3. Commercialization and Delivery Model
SDT will operate and commercialize the customer-facing emulation service within QUREKA™ while QPerfect provides and maintains the MIMIQ™ back end in a secure European cloud environment. The service targets research institutions, industrial R&D teams and enterprise innovation programs.
4. BTQ’s Stake and Acquisition Outlook
BTQ’s current 16.67% stake in QPerfect supports its strategy to build foundational quantum software infrastructure. The anticipated full acquisition remains subject to French foreign direct investment approval and customary closing conditions.
