BTQ Technologies completed the first milestone of a multi-year post-quantum cryptography chip collaboration with Taiwan’s ITRI.
The program sits within a broader QCIM roadmap led with ICTK, combining BTQ’s crypto architecture, ICTK’s secure semiconductor capabilities, and ITRI’s validation expertise.
Validation in a TSMC 28-nanometer design environment showed QCIM can accelerate NIST post-quantum standards FIPS 203, 204, and 205 across demanding conditions.
The project moves into module-level integration, verification, and validation to support system-level incorporation, customer demonstrations, and commercialization planning.
BTQ expects to ship QCIM test chips to key customers and strategic partners by year-end for performance and functional validation.
