Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has introduced its Mesquite Smoked Malt Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey as a one-time limited release. This expression removes rye from the traditional mashbill for the first time in Bulleit Bourbon’s history, showcasing the brand’s experimental frontier spirit.

The whiskey was first distilled in November 2018 and aged for a minimum of six years in Bulleit’s Kentucky distillery. Bottled in fall 2025 at 93 proof (46.5% ABV), the higher proof delivers intensified smoky and malty notes.

The mashbill consists of 65% corn, 30% mesquite-smoked malt and 5% malted barley, imparting rich caramelized sugar, warm mesquite smoke, sweet vanilla and oak. No artificial flavors are added, allowing the mesquite character to linger with a barbecue-inspired finish.
