Burford Capital unit issues USD 300 million 8% senior secured notes due 2029

The notes pay 8.000% interest semiannually on April 15 and Oct. 15, starting April 15, 2027.
The notes mature Oct. 15, 2029. A change of control trigger requires a 101% repurchase offer.
Burford Capital Global Finance closes $300 million notes offering
Burford Capital Global Finance closed a private offering of USD 300 million 8.000% senior secured notes due 2029, guaranteed by Burford Capital.
Net proceeds, together with cash on hand, are earmarked to redeem the issuer’s USD 6.250% senior notes due 2028 in full.
