Shares of AbCellera ABCL.O rise 32.2% to $9.08 premarket.
The company says a mid-stage trial showed its experimental drug significantly reduces the frequency and severity of moderate-to-severe hot flashes at four weeks versus placebo after a single dose.
ABCL635 is being developed as a non-hormonal, long-acting, subcutaneous treatment for moderate-to-severe vasomotor symptoms, commonly known as hot flashes, due to menopause.
Up to last close, the stock was up 102% year to date.
