Sixth Street is looking to renew its long-shot bid to acquire BHF, Bloomberg News reports, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
Talcott Financial Group, an insurer backed by Sixth Street, sent a private letter to BHF last month reaffirming its bid to take over the insurance and annuity provider if a current deal falls through, the report adds.
