The ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF BITO.P and iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF IBIT.O both rose more than 5%.
Stock moves across exchanges, traders, and miners
Crypto exchange Coinbase Global COIN.O gained 5%, while bitcoin holder Strategy MSTR.O rose 5%.
Retail trading platform Robinhood Markets HOOD.O jumped more than 7%.
Crypto miners also advanced: Riot Platforms RIOT.O rose 4%, Mara Holdings MARA.O gained 4%, Bit Digital BTBT.O added 3%, and Hut 8 HUT.O climbed 5%.
Crypto-related shares rise as Bitcoin nears $80,000
Cryptocurrency and blockchain-related companies lifted on Friday after Bitcoin BTC= rose more than 9% early in the morning and briefly neared , its highest level since mid-May.
