EVMN•Evommune says EVO756 misses trial goals
Shares of drug developer Evommune EVMN.N fell 18.73% after market close after the company said its experimental drug EVO756 missed both the primary and secondary goals in a mid-stage trial in adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, a type of eczema.
The company said based on the results it does not plan to advance EVO756 in AD.
Company says drug was well tolerated and other studies continue
Evommune said EVO756 was generally well tolerated and will continue to be evaluated in migraine prevention studies.
A mid-stage trial of EVO301 in atopic dermatitis is planned for mid-2027. EVMN expects its current cash position to fund operations into 2029.
As of last close, the stock was down 23.6% year to date.
