Shares of U.S. carriers fell as oil prices jumped almost 2% on Monday after Iran insisted the U.S. satisfy several demands before reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Brent crude futures LCOc1 were up $1.40, or 1.7%, at $84.95 a barrel by 1218 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures CLc1 were up $1.33, or 1.7%, at $79.51.
Shares of JetBlue (JBLU.O) were down 5.5%, while Delta Air Lines (DAL.N) fell 1.7%.
