U.S. stocks slip after stronger-than-expected jobs report
September 4 (Reuters) - The major U.S. stock indexes slipped on Friday after a stronger-than-expected jobs report prompted investors to ramp up bets on an interest rate hike later this month.
At 1130 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.69% at 53,313.07. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.50% at 7,709.20, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.45% at 26,464.47.
