William Blair upgraded financial data provider FactSet Research to outperform from market perform.
The brokerage said the perceived AI disruption risk is overstated for FactSet, which it said has become a poster child for broader concerns that AI will disrupt financial data providers.

William Blair said that while FactSet is smaller in scale than its largest and primary competitors S&P Global, Bloomberg and LSEG, its scale is sufficient for continued investment initiatives.
Four out of 20 brokerages rate the stock buy or higher, 10 hold and 6 sell or lower, with a median price target of $254, according to data compiled by LSEG.
As of the last close, FactSet stock was up 4% year to date.
