BuzzFeed reported a Q3 2026 net loss of $18.66 million, more than double the year-earlier loss, as revenue declined 44% to $26.03 million. Commerce and other revenue fell 71% to $4.84 million, and advertising revenue declined 31% to $15.39 million.
A July restructuring reduced the workforce and dedicated contractors by approximately 35%, with expected annualized savings of approximately $30 million. Management deferred its full-year 2026 financial outlook while integrating changes from the Allen Family Digital transaction and the restructuring.
