BYD Eyes Indian EV Growth as EU-India Car Tariffs Fall to 40%
India agreed with the EU to cut car import tariffs from 110% to 40%, planning further reductions to 10% over time while excluding EVs from cuts for five years. BYD recorded an EV sales surge in India last year and is strengthening its presence ahead of future tariff cuts.
