1. CBL International Completes First LNG Bunkering for BYD in Shenzhen
CBL International Limited announced on December 30, 2025 that it successfully executed Xiaomo Port’s inaugural LNG bunkering operation for BYD in Shenzhen, in collaboration with China National Offshore Oil Corporation. This marks CBL’s first physical LPG-to-LNG pivot for the Guangzhou–Shenzhen maritime corridor and diversifies its revenue streams beyond biofuels. The shipment delivered 1,800 metric tons of LNG—enough to power a mid-size cargo vessel for over 5,000 nautical miles—enabling BYD to cut greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 20% and reduce fuel costs by 25%–30%. The operation underscores CBL’s role as a facilitator in 65 ports worldwide and supports BYD’s broader decarbonization goals under IMO 2030/2050 frameworks.
