Byline Bancorp names Sean McGuire chief commercial banking officer effective Jan. 1, 2027
BY•Byline Bancorp named Sean H. McGuire executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Darrin Bacon and Scott E. Hawthorne also received new executive roles effective that date.
1. Executive appointments
McGuire, previously senior vice president and commercial banking group head, has more than 35 years of commercial banking experience. Byline appointed Darrin Bacon executive vice president and head of commercial banking; Bacon joined the company through its 2018 First Bank & Trust acquisition. Scott E. Hawthorne was named executive vice president and chief credit officer after serving as deputy chief credit officer since August 2026.
