C3 Metals Inc. restored all project infrastructure after Hurricane Melissa and recommenced exploration at its Jamaican assets, advancing the Super Block scout drilling program to 50% completion with seven of 14 holes (2,500m) drilled. At Bellas Gate, drilling has resumed and 46 of 70 sq km 3DIP survey is finished.

1. CUAUF Resumes Full Exploration Activities in Jamaica

C3 Metals Inc. (OTCQB: CUAUF) announced on January 12, 2026 that it has restored all project infrastructure damaged by Hurricane Melissa, which made landfall on October 28, 2025, and has recommenced full-scale exploration across its Jamaican holdings. Operations at both the Super Block and Bellas Gate projects are now active, with mobilization of drilling crews and geophysical teams to advance ongoing programs halted three months ago by the storm.

2. Progress at Super Block and Bellas Gate Projects

At its 50%-owned Super Block project, CUAUF has resumed drilling on a 14-hole scout program totaling 2,500 metres; seven holes (1,250 metres) were completed prior to Hurricane Melissa and the remaining seven holes have now recommenced. At the 100%-owned Bellas Gate project—under a joint-venture earn-in with Freeport-McMoRan Exploration Corporation—drilling activities using a man-portable rig have restarted, and a 70 square-kilometre 3D induced-polarization survey is now approximately 66% complete (46 sq. km surveyed to date).

3. Community Assistance Supports Local Resilience

Concurrent with infrastructure repairs, CUAUF deployed targeted relief efforts for communities affected by the hurricane. The Company distributed over 500 care packages containing food, water and essential supplies; repaired and cleared more than 15 kilometres of rural roads to reconnect isolated villages; and supplied roofing materials to rebuild or retrofit over 120 homes and community structures. These efforts were carried out in partnership with local authorities across three parishes in western Jamaica.

4. Executive Commentary and Strategic Outlook

Dan Symons, President and CEO of CUAUF, emphasized that workforce safety remained the top priority throughout the storm’s approach and subsequent restoration work. He highlighted the rapid execution of both exploration restart and community assistance programs, noting that full resumption of field operations positions the Company to capture new data on copper-gold targets identified earlier in 2025. Symons stressed that maintaining strong community relations and robust infrastructure is critical to advancing potential resource discoveries in Jamaica.
