C4 Therapeutics says cemsidomide-elranatamab Phase 1b trial clears 75 µg dose as safe in multiple myeloma
CCCC•C4 Therapeutics said a safety committee cleared the initial 75 µg dose of its cemsidomide-elranatamab combination in a Phase 1b multiple myeloma trial, enabling dose escalation and expansion cohorts. Results from all Phase 1b cohorts are expected in mid-2027.
1. Dose cleared
C4 Therapeutics presented new biomarker results at the 23rd International Myeloma Society annual meeting. Early Phase 1b readouts in the first two patients suggested cemsidomide may strengthen T-cell function with Pfizer’s elranatamab; the safety committee’s clearance of the initial 75 µg dose enables escalation and expansion cohorts.
2. Biomarker findings
Phase 1 data in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma supported immune activation with cemsidomide plus dexamethasone, consistent with prior anti-myeloma activity. Results from all Phase 1b cohorts are expected in mid-2027.
