Cadence Design rises after raising annual profit, revenue forecasts

Cadence Design Systems shares rose 2% after the chip design software provider raised its annual forecasts. It expects 2026 adjusted profit per share of $8.37 to $8.43, compared with its previous forecast of $8.05 to $8.15, and revenue of $6.387 billion to $6.417 billion, up from $6.26 billion to $6.34 billion.

The company reported third-quarter revenue of $1.63 billion, compared with analysts’ estimate of $1.61 billion.
