CAE, Saab Sign GlobalEye-Based AEW&C Teaming Agreement for Canada
CAE•CAE and Saab signed a Canada-specific teaming agreement to deliver Airborne Early Warning and Control solutions on the GlobalEye platform, naming CAE Saab’s preferred AEW&C training and simulation partner. The deal tasks CAE with flight, mission and rear crew training and LVC integration to enhance Canadian Armed Forces readiness.
1. CAE and Saab Formalize Canada-Specific AEW&C Partnership
CAE and Saab have established a teaming agreement to support Canada’s AEW&C program based on the GlobalEye platform, expanding on their global cooperation pact. This collaboration positions CAE as the lead provider of integrated training and simulation solutions for Canada’s airborne early warning capabilities.
2. Training and Simulation Scope
Under the agreement, CAE will develop flight training, mission systems and rear crew instruction, along with Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) integration, to deliver comprehensive operational readiness programs tailored to Canadian Armed Forces requirements.
