CalciMedica Q2 FY26 net loss widens to $7.65 million

CalciMedica announced a private placement financing of up to about USD 49 million to advance its pulmonary hypertension strategy, including a planned Phase 1b Auxora trial in PAH.
Auxora PAH Phase 1b data and the CM5480 IND submission are both targeted for mid-2027. The company said the FDA aligned on the acute pancreatitis Phase 2b primary endpoint of new-onset severe respiratory failure.
Q2 results show wider loss and lower expenses
CalciMedica posted a Q2 net loss of USD 7.65 million, widening from a USD 5.96 million loss a year earlier; loss per share widened to USD 0.45 from USD 0.40.
R&D expense fell 48.13% to USD 2.1 million; G&A expense dropped 25.65% to USD 1.91 million.
