Calidi's CLD-401 shows high rates of complete tumor eradication in mice
CLDI•Calidi Biotherapeutics said CLD-401 showed high rates of complete tumor eradication in mice with EMT6 breast cancer tumors and retained antitumor activity in an MB49 bladder cancer model when administered intravenously or intratumorally.
1. Preclinical findings
Calidi Biotherapeutics will present preclinical CLD-401 and T-cell engager platform data at the ESMO Congress on October 24, 2026. RedTail-based candidates CLD-501 and CLD-502 showed antigen-dependent, dose-responsive T-cell killing targeting TROP-2 and EpCAM, respectively. Adding a T-cell engager payload to the EpCAM-targeted construct did not reduce IL-15 superagonist expression in laboratory or animal studies.
