California Resources published its 2025 Sustainability Report Update, outlining emissions cuts, carbon capture buildout, water reuse, methane controls, and community investment.
- Scope 1 and 2 emissions down 25% since 2020, avoiding more than 1.61 million metric tons of CO2e; carbon intensity stayed below CARB statewide average.
- Carbon TerraVault completed construction of CTV I, designed to permanently store up to 1.6 million metric tons of CO2 annually.
- Delivered about 4.6 billion gallons of treated reclaimed water in 2025; recycled, reused or reclaimed nearly 75% of produced water.
