Campbell’s FY26 diluted EPS drops 35% to $1.31; net sales fall 5% to $9.74 billion
CPB•Campbell’s fiscal 2026 diluted EPS fell 35% to $1.31 and net sales declined 5% to $9.74 billion.
1. Fiscal 2026 results
Net earnings attributable to common shareholders fell to $394 million from $602 million. Gross profit margin narrowed to 28.1% from 30.4%, primarily because of cost inflation, supply chain costs and tariffs, partially offset by productivity.
2. Business segments and costs
Meals & Beverages sales decreased 4% to $5.93 billion, while Snacks sales dropped 6% to $3.82 billion. Campbell expects input-cost volatility to persist in 2027, primarily from tariffs, logistics costs and geopolitical conflicts, and said mitigation actions are planned.
