Campbell's makes over 31 million Prego bottles recyclable with packaging redesign
CPB•Campbell's says removing mixed-material layers from Prego bottles made more than 31 million bottles recyclable in 2025. It reported that 95% of its packaging was recyclable or industrially compostable by 2025, with a 100% target for 2030.

Removing mixed-material layers from Prego bottles in October 2024 made more than 31 million bottles recyclable in 2025. Redesigned Prego jars saved 62,000 pounds of glass and 7,000 pounds of metal in five months.

Campbell's said it transitioned 95% of its packaging to recyclable or industrially compostable designs and materials by 2025, and is targeting 100% by 2030. Rao's Homemade plans to move its remaining multipack formats to recyclable paper-based packaging by the first quarter of fiscal 2027; Snyder's of Hanover PET pretzel canisters now contain 25% post-consumer recycled material.
