Can-Fite BioPharma said namodenoson’s Phase IIa pancreatic cancer results showed favorable safety and encouraging exploratory survival findings, and that the results had been presented at ESMO 2026. The company plans to pursue licensing and strategic partnerships at BIO-Europe 2026 in Cologne, Germany, November 9-11.
Can-Fite said blinded overall survival in its pivotal Phase III liver cancer trial was longer than anticipated across participants and that an interim analysis is planned. Its pivotal Phase III psoriasis program for piclidenoson reached its prespecified interim analysis stage, with results expected in the first quarter of 2027. Existing regional licensing agreements have generated approximately $20 million in upfront and milestone payments, with potential additional milestones and royalties.
