SPY•Canadian wholesale trade most likely rose 0.5% in September from August, driven largely by higher sales in machinery, equipment and supplies, and motor vehicles and parts, Statistics Canada said in a flash estimate.

Canadian wholesale trade most likely rose 0.5% in September from August, driven largely by higher sales in the machinery, equipment and supplies subsector and the motor vehicle and parts subsector. The estimate was based on a weighted response rate of 62.2%, compared with an average of 83.7% over the previous 12 months. Figures were seasonally adjusted.
