Canada stocks-TSX opens higher as easing oil prices offset Fed rate hike concerns

Canada's main stock index opened higher on Friday, as easing oil prices on prospects of a deal to resume shipping in the Middle East helped investors look past rising odds of a Federal Reserve rate hike.
The S&P/TSX Composite Index .GSPTSE was up 0.88% at 35,817.66 points at 09:32 a.m. ET.
