Canada's Enerflex Q3 revenue falls, missing estimates
EFX•Enerflex reported Q3 revenue of $623 million, below the $641.13 million analyst estimate, while net income rose to $55 million. The company raised its quarterly dividend by about 17% and expects 2026 organic capital expenditures of $185 million to $195 million.
1. Quarterly results
Enerflex's Q3 revenue fell short of analyst expectations at $623 million versus a consensus estimate of $641.13 million. Adjusted EBITDA was $129 million and net income was $55 million. The company said lower revenue and adjusted EBITDA reflected project milestone timing and higher operational activity in its ES business in the prior-year period.
2. Outlook and dividend
Enerflex raised its quarterly dividend by about 17%. It targets 2026 organic capital expenditures of $185 million to $195 million and expects customer-supported contract compression fleet growth of 10% to 15% that year.
3. Profitability and demand
Net profit rose, helped by lower finance costs and a gain on the disposition of Asia Pacific operations. Enerflex said record ES bookings and backlog provide visibility into future revenue and business activity, and cited strong multi-year demand in its core markets, supported by rising natural gas production.
