Canadian dollar weakens, benchmark yield climbs

The Canadian dollar weakened against the U.S. dollar on Wednesday, trading at C$1.4227, or 70.29 U.S. cents, after ranging from C$1.4155 to C$1.4229. Canadian 10-year government bond yields rose 3.2 basis points to 3.999%; comparable U.S. yields rose to 5.2934%.
