CPCP

Canadian Pacific Kansas City certified 14 new rail-served industrial sites across six U.S. states, three Canadian provinces and two Mexican states, unlocking more than 6,600 acres of development land. This expansion bolsters its Room to Grow strategy by offering pre-certified sites for rapid deployment to logistics and manufacturing partners.

1. New Site Ready Certifications

Canadian Pacific Kansas City has added 14 new rail-served industrial development sites spanning six U.S. states, three Canadian provinces and two Mexican states. These locations contribute over 6,600 acres of shovel-ready land pre-certified for immediate industrial use.

2. Strategic Advantages of Rail-Served Sites

Each certified site offers direct access to major markets, ports and distribution hubs, reducing first-mile and last-mile logistics costs. Pre-certification for rail service enables tenants to accelerate construction timelines and minimize operational delays.

3. Enhancement of Room to Grow Strategy

This certification advance marks 22 Site Ready locations now available across the tri-national network, reinforcing the Room to Grow initiative. The expanded footprint provides greater capacity to attract manufacturers, logistics operators and supply chain partners to CPKC’s unified railway system.

4. Economic and Operational Impact

Certified in partnership with Burns & McDonnell, the new sites are designed for scalability and long-term operational success. Development is expected to drive local job creation, capital investment and strengthen regional supply chain resilience.
