Canopy Growth receives Nasdaq notice for minimum bid price noncompliance

CGC•Canopy Growth received a Nasdaq notice after its common shares closed below $1 for 30 consecutive business days. It has until April 12, 2027, to regain compliance, and shareholders will consider a one-for-five to one-for-15 reverse stock split on October 23, 2026.
Canopy Growth received the notice on October 14, 2026. To regain compliance, its closing bid must reach at least $1 for 10 consecutive business days by April 12, 2027.
The notice does not immediately affect Nasdaq trading or listing, and the company’s Toronto Stock Exchange compliance remains unaffected. A conditional 180-day extension would require a transfer to the Nasdaq Capital Market; failure to qualify or regain compliance could lead to delisting. Shareholders will consider a reverse stock split ranging from one-for-five to one-for-15 on October 23, 2026, which must be implemented at least 10 business days before the deadline.
