Canopy Network Raises $8.5M, Acquires Tanssi for Mainnet Launch
CGC•Canopy Network raised $8.5 million in seed funding from Arrington Capital, Fenbushi Capital, Borderless Capital and SNZ Capital to support its AI-native blockchain mainnet launch, engineering hires and developer tooling. The project also acquired Tanssi technology to enable appchain deployments, dashboards and Ethereum links in minutes.
1. Seed Funding Round
Canopy Network completed an $8.5 million seed funding round led by Arrington Capital, Fenbushi Capital, Borderless Capital and SNZ Capital. Proceeds will underwrite mainnet launch efforts, new engineering hires and enhancements to developer experience and AI-native tooling.
2. Tanssi Acquisition
The acquisition of Tanssi technology equips Canopy with a dashboard-driven protocol for rapid appchain deployment, token management and block production, extending interoperability with Ethereum networks. This back-end infrastructure is pivotal for delivering on Canopy’s vision of streamlined onchain application launches.
3. AI-Native Developer Framework
Canopy’s AI-native framework allows founders to specify application concepts and receive readable, extensible code generated by AI coding tools, minimizing engineering overhead. The platform’s templates, security features and interoperability aim to accelerate time from idea to deployed blockchain applications.
