Capitan Silver Hits 1,450.5 g/t AgEq over 1.5m at Cruz de Plata
Drill hole 25-ERRC-52 at Capitan Silver's Cruz de Plata project intersected 1,450.5 g/t silver equivalent over 1.5m within 211.0 g/t AgEq over 41.1m, extending mineralization 25m down-dip. The 60,000m program uses three diamond core rigs and one RC rig, uncovering a new gold zone north of the Gully Fault.
1. Key High-Grade Intercept
Drill hole 25-ERRC-52 intersected multiple high-grade zones including 1,450.5 g/t AgEq over 1.5m, 1,131.5 g/t AgEq over 3.0m and 574.6 g/t AgEq over 3.0m within a broader 211.0 g/t AgEq interval over 41.1m, extending the known mineralized zone 25m down-dip from legacy hole JEMA-02.
2. Additional Silver Intercepts
Reverse circulation holes along the Jesus Maria Trend extended silver mineralization down-dip by 20–50m, with hole 25-ERRC-48 returning 220.1 g/t AgEq over 1.5m within 86.4 g/t AgEq over 15.2m, and hole 25-ERRC-51 yielding 171.8 g/t AgEq over 4.6m and 175.7 g/t AgEq over 3.0m. Hole 25-ERRC-44 east of the Peñoles Fault delivered 256.3 g/t AgEq over 3.0m within 181.3 g/t AgEq over 4.6m.
3. Drill Program and New Targets
The 2026 program comprises a 60,000m multi-rig campaign with three diamond core rigs and one RC rig, three of which are now operational. Drilling has ramped up at Cruz de Plata and has discovered a new gold zone north of the Gully Fault, complementing the Capitan Hill oxide deposit and expanding the project’s exploration footprint.
