Q2 loss and expenses widen
Capricor posted a Q2 net loss of $40.7 million, or $0.70 a share, widening from a $25.9 million loss.
Operating expenses climbed 54.95% to $42.9 million, with R&D up to $28.9 million and G&A rising to $14.1 million.
Cash position and FDA review
Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities fell to $237.9 million at June 30 from $318.1 million at Dec. 31.
Deramiocel BLA remained under active FDA review; the advisory committee voted 3-9 against effectiveness for DMD cardiomyopathy.
