Capricor says HOPE-3 extension data show deramiocel slows Duchenne upper-limb decline by 76% in delayed-start group
CAPR•Capricor said 24-month HOPE-3 extension data showed deramiocel slowed upper-limb functional decline by 76% in the delayed-start group.
1. Extension study data
Capricor disclosed new 24-month open-label extension data on deramiocel in Duchenne muscular dystrophy at the 2026 World Muscle Society Congress. Patients who switched from placebo to deramiocel showed a marked slowdown in upper-limb functional decline versus their prior year, while two-year data in both groups indicated slower deterioration than expected from untreated disease progression. The data were added to deramiocel’s BLA, with FDA action due by the Nov. 22, 2026 PDUFA target date.
