Capstone Energy+ said a modeled 1 MW CHP total cost of ownership is $0.067/kWh versus $0.094/kWh for natural gas reciprocating engines, citing uptime and maintenance.
It also highlighted an integrated data center package combining microturbines, battery storage, absorption chilling, dry cooling, and microgrid controls to support AI workloads.
The roadmap includes an 800 VDC platform with a Smart Power Switch in testing, a C600 unit in qualification, and a heat-recovery upgrade targeted for September 2026.

The company said the targeted market opportunity is framed at a $265 billion-plus total addressable market, including $90 billion-plus for data centers and $140 billion-plus for microgrids.
