Capstone Energy rises on turbine order for Argentina gas compression facility
CEPL•Capstone Energy received a 2.6-megawatt order and shipped two C1000S gas turbines and one C600S turbine for a natural gas compression facility in Argentina. The systems are expected to provide prime power and be commissioned in August 2027.
1. Turbines shipped
Capstone Energy said it shipped two C1000S gas turbines and one C600S turbine to supply electricity to a remote natural gas compression plant in Argentina. The systems are expected to provide prime power for a new facility in Río Negro Province that is expected to supply natural gas to an LNG export facility.
2. Expected commissioning
The systems are expected to be commissioned in August 2027. Capstone shares rose 2.4% in premarket trading.
